Cremation or Burial

Burial

If you decide on a burial your loved one will be buried in the designated Wilkies Wood green burial area. After the burial the grave will become an integral part of the woodland so no visible  signs of identification such as headstones or mementos are permitted.

Cremation

If you decide on cremation you can make arrangements directly with the crematorium of your choice, or you can ask your Funeral Director to do this for you. A special place for the burying or scattering of ashes and the planting of a memorial tree in the Eileen Caddy Memorial Wood can be arranged with the Funeral Coordinator. A charge is made for this service, please see Burial Costs page.
