Our Purpose
Our Purpose
The Findhorn Hinterland Trust works with landowners and other stakeholders in the local area to help integrate land management and involve the local community.
Our specific purposes are :
- Conservation through active environmental protection and improvement.
- Education of the local community and wider public in relation to the outdoor and environmental benefits of the hinterland, its facilities and biodiversity.
- Community-building through the activities offered on the land and by promoting cooperation and collaboration between local landowners and stakeholders.
- Provision of recreational facilities and activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for local people and others in West Moray and beyond.
- The provision and management of a Green Burial ground, offering natural burial services in an unspoilt and peaceful setting.
